Our History

FABTECH since its creation has continuously developed its facilities, capabilities, geographical footprint, and products offering to become one of the largest diversified fabrication companies in its field.

1994

Establishment

The vision of Dr. Harry Moraes was transformed into a reality with the opening of our first workshop at Al Awir Industrial Area, Dubai.

August

1995

Early Success

After a few successful projects, we experienced significant growth and inaugurated a new facility, FABTECH International, in Jebel Ali, Dubai. Over the next 5 years it became one of the largest privately owned companies in the area.

2000

Technology

We invested in new facilities and machineries, enhancing our capabilities, and enabling us to start a series of partnerships, long term agreements and joint ventures with technology providers.

2004

Expansion

FABTECH Abu Dhabi was started to cater to the fabrication demands of end users and contractors in the middle east.

2008

Diversification

FABTECH opened its largest facility, Fabtech Engineering, in Dubai Industrial City, to support the growing global demand for manufacturing.

2011

Integration

To continue our strategy to become a one stop shop, FABTECH Coatings was established to provide coatings services within our facilities, and also at our clients’ sites.

2015

Sustainability

FABTECH became a benchmark within the fabrication industry by developing new manufacturing technics and adopting sustainable practices. We generate 70% of our energy through solar power.

2020

Offshore

To handle large and offshore systems, FABTECH acquired its own jetty, next to our Jebel Ali yard. This setup enables us to load directly to our clients’ awaiting barges and ships.

2024

Efficiencies

FABTECH enhanced its production efficiency by automating several processes and machineries.
